  34. Purchased a USRobotics Sportster 28.8 a couple months ago.  Actually, I
  35. tried ordering a 28.8 from macmall but they had upgraded to the 33.6 speed
  36. for the same price.  Somewhere around $220.  I have used this modem with
  37. macslip 2.0.6 and freeppp 1.0.5 from two different providers with good
  38. results.  Regular connect speeds from 26 all the way up to 33. 
  39. Connections have been very stable.  In my only experience with GV, I was
  40. very disappointed in performance in comparison to a USRobotics of the same
  41. speed.  I have no experience with Zmodem or ARA.
